# About Result

Result is one workspace for running a business: a product to build, a way to be
found, a way to get paid, and the numbers for all three. It is made by
Foundative Inc., a Delaware corporation, and it is the software we wanted when
starting companies ourselves — not a shelf of tools to integrate, but one place
where the app, the marketing, the money and the paperwork already know about
each other.

## What Result does

- **Build.** A website and a backend that arrive wired together: authentication,
a database, storage, functions, realtime, AI, email, logs and deployments. You
copy one prompt into the coding agent you already use, and there is no stack to
  choose or connect.
- **Grow.** Write and schedule social content, keep a blog, and watch how the
business ranks in search and in AI answers.
- **Support.** Every thread a customer starts — from a public support page on
your own subdomain, or a widget dropped into your app — answered from one
inbox, with the numbers on how fast you got to them.
- **Company Brain.** One searchable place for everything the business knows —
documents, images, audio, links — that every other part of Result reads from.
- **Legal.** File a real US company with an EIN when the business is ready for
  one.
- **Analytics.** Web, social, blog, revenue and support numbers in one place
  rather than five dashboards.

## How it is put together

Result runs on two hosts, on purpose. This site, result.dev, is the public one:
what the product is, what it costs, the legal pages, and the whole of creating
an account. The product itself is app.result.dev, and it is private — there is
no signed-out surface there at all, which is what keeps a stranger from ever
being served the application or its data layer.

Agents get their own door. Result runs a Model Context Protocol server at
https://app.result.dev/mcp over Streamable HTTP, authorized with OAuth 2.1, and
it exposes the same tools the product uses internally — so a connected agent
works under the same validation, permissions and business-ownership rules a
person does. That same URL, opened in a browser, is the setup guide for Claude
Code, Cursor, Codex and everything else that speaks MCP.

Apps built on Result talk to their backend through **@resultdev/sdk** on npm,
and **@resultdev/cli** is the official command line tool for the operations that
need the admin key: tables, migrations, buckets, realtime channels, functions,
secrets, payment keys and deployments. The backend guides are at
https://docs.result.dev, where every page is also served as raw Markdown.

## What it costs

Every plan includes every feature. Plans differ by capacity — credits,
businesses, app users, Company Brain storage, and the fee on sales processed
through Result — and you can pay weekly or monthly. There is no free trial, and
prices are on the [pricing page](/pricing) rather than behind a call.

## The company

Foundative Inc. is a Delaware corporation. Questions, including anything about
this page, go to support@result.dev, and the [contact page](/contact) says which
address to use for what. The [terms](/terms), [privacy notice](/privacy) and
[refund policy](/refund) are the agreement between us.
